Dalam Bahasa Indonesia => Masuk FK, bagusnya melalui tes apa?
Ok, It's not because I didn't satisfied with our system. But, let me give a subjective view :
- Do we requires the knowledge of mathematics through logarithm, integral, and trigonometry to study in a medical faculty?
- Do we requires the knowledge of Physics through the formula of momentum, velocity, acceleration to study in a medical faculty?
- Do we requires the knowledge of Chemistry and all of it's reaction to study in a medical faculty?
- Do we requires the knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia through poem to study in a medical faculty?
If not, why should we learn it for this 12 years?
An example :
A friend of mine, A, was an outstanding student in Biology. He is really great. Not only for his score on our school, but also for Science Olympiad in Regency and Province. Even though he can't reach the National's class, I think he still a great one in Biology.
When I asked his dream, he really wanted to passed in to a medical faculty. And I know, he deserved for it. In fact he didn't make it. It caused that he can't passed the SNMPTN (a test to passed in a to public university in Indonesia). I realize that he can't passed just because he didn't understand the other lessons such as mathematics, chemistry, and physic. Ah~ one of an extraordinary talent have been useless.
I feel sorry. I'm the frequently remedial student in the class, indeed passed in to a medical faculty. I'm not good in Biology, but I passed it for my mathematics, physic, and chemistry. And also I didn't like being a doctor-at that time.
Is it fair for a people love Biology but they can't enter the medical faculty because they didn't good in the other lessons?
And is it fair if a people didn't love Biology but the can passed in to a medical faculty just because they good in the other lessons?
So, what is the best test to passed in to the university due to their interest?-not only medical faculty.
